Car Hire Terms and conditions.
The hirer and/or authorized driver must have a full and valid driving license for a minimum of 
three years and above and that the license must bear no current endorsements during the last three years. A driving license from the country of residence or international driver’s permit is generally acceptable provided valid as above.
The hirer and/or authorized driver must be over 23 years of age and not above 70 years of age. The hirer and/or authorized driver must also be in possession of a proper means of identification other than a driver’s license.
A compulsory daily insurance charge is payable by the hirer. All our vehicles are comprehensively insured. The hirer and/or authorized driver agree that the vehicle is in a good state/ condition with no dents on its body/frame and therefore the hirer is responsible for repairs for damages caused. In case of an accident, a Police report/ statement is essential.
We recommend that the client takes out personal accident insurance inclusive of medical repatriation, from the point of departure as this is not covered under the vehicle’s insurance coverage.
The vehicles must be locked when unattended. The vehicle must not be parked in public areas for longer spells. The hirer is responsible for the security of the vehicle and in the event of theft is liable for payment.
The hirer and /or authorized driver shall pay all parking dues during the rental period.
Vehicles hired must not carry passengers for a reward or gain and loading must not exceed the authorized capacity. Firearms, explosives, drugs and other illegal substances are prohibited.
The hirer and/or authorized driver will not use the hired vehicle for any sporting activities such as motor racing, to pull trailer or sublet the vehicle.
The vehicles are not supplied with fuel therefore the hirer is responsible for fueling the vehicle as per the destination is concerned.
In case of mechanical breakdown as such to necessitate replacement of the hired vehicle, the owner will provide a replacement in agreement with the hirer.
Our Vehicle can be driven to Kenya and Rwanda at an additional cost of US$180 for processing the regional motor vehicle insurance and paying other charges for taking a vehicle across the common borders.
