GORILLA SAFARI FOR 3 DAYS
Day 01: Kampala - Bwindi national park
Meet and greet at your hotel in Kampala at 07.00 hrs by our company safari Guide who will warmly welcome you and brief you about your safari, leave for Bwindi driving to south west of Uganda. This drive will take long so you will take a brief stop over at the Equator for photography and then proceed to Bwindi. This drive takes you through the beautiful sceneries of the Western part of Uganda which is sometimes known as the Switzerland of Uganda. Have lunch en-route and then proceed to the park passing through the gorgeous undulating landscapes of the Switzerland of Uganda! Then we continue for the last part. On the last hill of the landscape is the vast plane of Uganda, Rwanda and Congo the Virunga volcanoes dominate the view. In the North is the Northern sect of Bwindi national park and in the South is Mgahinga and the Southern part of Bwindi. This drive might be long but is rewarding with beautiful sceneries and artistic African exquisiteness.
Dinner and overnight at Kitandara camp, Buhoma homestead, Engagi Lodge or Buhoma community Rest camp..
Day 02: Mountain gorilla trekking
Morning breakfast, get ready with our packed lunch, cameras, water, rain jackets long pair of trouser and jungle boots, you will assemble for briefing from the rangers about the gorilla tracking the great adventure and experience! The time taken to encounter these peaceful primates is unpredictable for may take 3 to 8 hours. You sit in the forest among the gorillas listening to them grumble at each other and marvel at the size of the dominant male, the silverback. It’s amazing to think that there are only 650 or so of these creatures left in the world.
Return to your lodging for dinner and overnight.
Day 03: Drive to Kampala
After a morning breakfast, we will return back to Kampala stopping in Masaka for lunch arriving in early evening.
