Kidepo Valley National Park.

Kidepo Valley National park is located in the Uganda’s remote north-eastern corner and tucked between the borders of Sudan and Kenya. The Park is about 1442 Km2.

Activities.
- game drives in search of the most exciting faunas of any Ugandan National Park with 77 species of mammals and of which several are restricted to Kidepo and karamoja region. Localized carnivores include the bat-eared fox, striped hyena, aardwolf, caracal and cheetah.
-the park also boosts an extensive bird list of 463 species confirmed and 26 unconfirmed- and second only to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
-hot springs can also be visited and are found on the Sudan border.
-a walk to the Morungule mountain ranges.

Where to Stay?

Accommodation is available at Apoka Lodge which is on the shallow slopes of the scenic Narus Valley and offers up market accommodation.

Climate.
The Park has a semi arid climate with just one rainy season per year (April-September).

The park can be visited anytime of the year
