Murchison Falls Protected Area.

Murchison Falls lies in the Northern end of the Albertine rift valley and it‘s the biggest and oldest National Park in Uganda with 3,893 km2. Karuma and Bugungu wild reserves cover’s 1,179 km2 and it’s bisected by the mighty River Nile. The park is 5-6 hour drive from Kampala depending on the route you have used to cover 305 km. All the roads in Murchison Falls National Park have been recently upgraded.

What you may not miss out!!!
-take a Visit to the top of the falls
- game drives to see the Rothschild’s giraffes, Lions, elephants, lions, buffaloes, metion a few.
-Prolific birdlife of about 450 species recoded in this park.
-Have a magical launch cruise and see hippos crocodiles and more birdlife or a boat ride to delta- you may spot the rare shoe bill stork.
-go chimpanzee tracking in the Kaniyo Pabidi forests.
-nature walks in Rabongo forests can also be arranged.

Where to Stay?
Accommodation is available for all kinds of travelers that is; if you want to have upgrade hotels/lodges. We recommend Paraa Safari Lodge and Nile Safari camp.
Budget at Red Chilli rest camp. Or you can spend a night in Masindi or Hoima.

Climate.
Temperatures can be hot with a mean maximum of 29oc. The hottest months being December to mid February and June-July. Rainy seasons are in April and November.
